A revised Skoda Octavia will be revealed this February, and the brand has given us a taste of what this new family car will look like.
Details are pretty thin on the ground for now, but expect to see new tech, a revised interior and fresh styling when it goes on sale.
New Skoda Octavia design
This shot from a teaser video on social media is the only glimpse you’ll get of the new Skoda Octavia for now, and it looks like it’ll get some subtle changes to make it look more modern.

The main detail you can see here is a new headlight design with a revised daytime running light signature. There’s something Peugeot-esque about the way the LED appears to slash its way into the bumper, and you can bet that there will be some revised air intakes as well.
Don’t expect the rest of the design to change too much. There’s likely to be some new alloy wheels, as well as a tweaked rear bumper and tail lights. The hot vRS version will also benefit from some more modern styling touches.
New Skoda Octavia interior and infotainment
No pictures have surfaced of the new Skoda Octavia’s interior, but you can expect some new technology to make its way into the cabin. The current car gets a 10.0-inch touchscreen as standard, but this new car could get the 12.9-inch screen from the recently-revealed Skoda Superb and Kodiaq.

Beyond this, don’t expect too many other changes. There could be some new infotainment software, as well as updated interior trim.
When can I buy a new Skoda Octavia?
The new Skoda Octavia will be revealed in full this February, with sales likely to start in the spring. As it stands, this family car starts from £26,000. The updated car may fetch a small premium over the outgoing model though.
