Mini Seven special edition – more style as standard

The new Mini Seven is the first special edition of the latest generation retro hatchback. The name, Mini says, harks back to the 1959 Austin Mini Seven, and unique colours and trim set the latest version apart from regular models.

The Seven is available in both three-door hatchback and five-door body styles in four colour choices. Lapisluxury Blue – shown in these images – is unique to the Seven, while White, Black, and British Racing Green are also offered. Each shade features contrasting roof and door mirrors painted silver, and a pair of silver racing stripes with brown highlights as an option. A set of 17-inch alloy wheels in a design unique to the Seven round off the changes outside.

The Seven’s cabin features part-leather seats with side bolsters trimmed in a grey/brown tartan weave, and a light brown finish for the dashboard and door inserts. Standard equipment includes Bluetooth and USB connectivity, air conditioning, the Excitement Pack featuring extra LED interior lighting, and a 6.5-inch colour display mounted in the centre of the dash. Special ‘Seven’ badging on the door sills and on the central screen surround give subtle reminders that this is a special edition model.

A special Seven version of the familiar Chilli option pack adds LED headlights, adaptive cruise control and sumptuous Nappa leather for the seats and steering wheel. Seat heaters, satellite navigation and an upgraded Harman Kardon stereo are all extras.

The Seven pack is offered with the Cooper and Cooper S petrol models, and the Cooper D and Cooper SD diesels. It’ll make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 23-26 June, with order books open now. Prices for the three-door Seven are from £18,545, with five-door models costing £600 more.
