The most obvious difference between Ambience Prime and standard Ambience trim is an exclusive Chestnut metallic paint finish. The Sandero and Logan MCV are fitted with 15-inch alloy wheels as standard while the Duster benefits from larger 16-inch alloy wheels at no extra cost.
Front fog lights are offered as part of the Ambience Prime package on both the Sandero and Logan MCV – this feature is not available on the Duster, however. The Dacia interiors of these cars benefit from electric front windows and a radio that features a CD player, AUX input, USB connectivity and Bluetooth compatibility as standard.
All three cars are fitted with body-coloured bumpers, emergency brake assist as standard and, unlike much of the rest of Dacia’s range, traction control. The rear seats fold in a useful 60/40 split to help make loading and unloading bulky items a little easier.
The Sandero in this trim level costs between £7,295 and £9,095 depending on engine specification while the Logan MCV will set you back between £8,295 and £10,095. The Duster costs between £10,995 for a basic two-wheel-drive version, up to £14,495 for the 4×4 diesel model.
If you were to specify all this equipment as optional extras it would cost nearly £1,200, yet these cars are all priced at just £500 more than standard Ambience models. This means they represent excellent value for money.
