Colour guide
Metallic - Magnesium
Free
Magnesium might be the only no-cost colour option available with the Polestar 2, but it still makes for an extremely smart choice. This classic shade of metallic silver really complements the 2’s attractive lines nicely, giving it an effortlessly upmarket look in the process. Being a lighter shade of silver it’ll help to mask road grime in colder months, too.
Special metallic - Jupiter
£900
The Jupiter shade brings a golden-grey hue to the Polestar 2 that’s almost reminiscent of desert sand. This classy shade looks right at home on this futuristic electric vehicle, and will likely prove to be popular when the time comes to sell the car on. Chances are it’ll be an easier colour option to keep clean, too.

Special metallic - Midnight
£900
As the only Polestar 2 colour that isn’t based on grey, silver, black or white, Midnight is arguably the colour you should go for if you want to stand out. This rich blue tone lends an appealingly premium look to the already handsome 2, and should make for a popular choice on the used market when the time to sell comes around.
Special metallic - Snow
£900
This rich shade of metallic white looks utterly spectacular when exposed to direct sunlight, with a shimmery effect that really draws the eye in. It contrasts nicely against the 2’s black exterior trim pieces, and will make for a popular colour choice on the used market. Just be aware that white cars can be a nightmare to keep clean in cold, wet winter months.
Special metallic - Space
£900
While metallic black makes for a solid choice on most cars, thanks to the Polestar 2’s boxier profile and slightly raised ride height, that’s not quite the case here. While the Space colour option certainly looks smart, it does make the 2 look a bit bulky, perhaps because it swallows up the many contrasting pieces of black exterior trim. It’ll be a pain to keep clean too.
Special metallic - Thunder
£900
Thunder’s classic grey tones look right at home on the Polestar 2. This darker shade looks fantastic in contrast to the 2’s black exterior trim pieces, and it should do a decent job of hiding any road grime that you’ll inevitably pick up on your travels. As a more conservative shade of paint, it’ll prove popular on the used market too.
